MEET OUR DOCTORS

Our experienced doctors are all certified dentist anesthesiologists and provide anesthetic care to a wide array of dental patients.

DR. MATTHEW D. ARNALL

Dr. Matthew Arnall was raised in Flagstaff, Arizona. His wife and four children are the best part of his life! He spent way too many years on his education, but he enjoyed the journey and wouldn’t change a thing (he only says that to make himself feel better). He attended Northern Arizona University where he studied microbiology (yawn), then Creighton University for dental school (his wife made him take ballroom dancing lessons in the middle of it… which saved his marriage… seriously). Several years into private practice, he and his wife announced that the family would be moving to New York City for him to attend a residency in anesthesiology at New York University (death stares from his teenage daughters). In the end, New York City was a pretty awesome place for the whole family. His wife nearly bankrupted them with her Broadway addiction, and he found his passion in anesthesiology!

DR. JEFFREY N. BROWNSTEIN

Dr. Brownstein, along with his older special needs sister, grew up in a western suburb of Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Brownstein’s mother, who obtained her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Special Education, devoted her entire career to improving the quality of education for special needs children. His father obtained graduate degrees in pharmacy, dentistry and pediatrics, and is known nationally for dedicating his career to dental education. He served as Dean at both the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine and at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. Dr. Brownstein’s wife, Sheri, is also a second-generation dentist and a full-time professor/administrator at the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. Sheri & Jeff have three children and enjoy an active lifestyle, which includes hiking, boating, traveling and photography.

DR. GLADE W. COX

Dr. Glade Cox feels very fortunate to be part of Arizona Dental Anesthesia and to be able to call Arizona home. He was raised with four brothers who, along with his parents, have been amazing examples, teachers, and mentors to him. He loves spending time with them and his nieces and nephews. Dr. Cox loves anesthesia because it gives him the opportunity to help those who may otherwise not be able to receive dental and medical treatment. Dr. Cox received his dental training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine and his anesthesia training at New York University Langone Hospital – Brooklyn which is a level 1 trauma center, designated Stroke Center, Bariatric Center of Excellence, and one of the busiest emergency departments in Brooklyn. When he is not doing anesthesia, Dr. Cox enjoys live music, biking, fitness, traveling, photography, and creating.

DR. DONALD T. HOM

Donald Hom began providing dental care in Arizona in 2002 after graduating from USC School of Dentistry. He additionally completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in Tucson, Arizona. Looking to further challenge himself, Donald sought to pursue his interest in providing anesthesia to the dental community. After completion of the Dental Anesthesiology Residency at Loma Linda University in 2006, he returned to Arizona to fulfill his goal of serving the Valley of the Sun. He has continued to provide general anesthesia care to pediatric and general dentists throughout the state of Arizona since that time.

DR. NATHAN NAKANO

Dr. Nakano is originally from Washington State, but now calls Arizona home. After finishing dental school at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health he served in the United States Navy, practicing all aspects of dentistry. Following his time in the Navy he moved to Brooklyn, NY, where he completed a three year dental anesthesiology residency at NYU Langone. When not working, he enjoys sports and traveling.

DR. ANTHONY ROSS

Dr. Ross was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended college in Southern California where he studied both Biology and Business. After graduating with Renaissance Honors, he then pursued his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the same University and was inducted into OKU upon graduation, a National Dental Honor Society. He then completed a 3 year residency in New York at NYU Langone Brooklyn’s Level 1 Trauma Center. He served as Chief Resident during the Coronavirus Pandemic before ultimately moving back to the desert. When not practicing Anesthesia, Dr. Ross enjoys spending time with family, trying new restaurants around the valley, and golfing with other members of the group.

DR. MATT WALL

Dr. Wall was raised in the upper Midwest, specifically North Dakota. He attended college in Nebraska where he obtained a B.S in Biology. Following his undergraduate schooling, Dr. Wall attended Loma Linda University in Southern California, where he completed a degree in dental surgery as well as a residency in dental anesthesiology. During his residency, he completed rotations through several local hospitals as well as Loma Linda University’s special care surgery center. He has enjoyed living in Arizona since 2010 with his wife and two boys. Besides Dr. Wall’s passion for his anesthesia career and family, he enjoys cycling, hiking, and golfing.
